This Tandem Skydive is one of the easiest and most exciting ways to experience parachuting in the UK. With no need for extensive training, you’ll enjoy the full rush of freefall with the reassurance of having a professional instructor by your side.
Your day begins with a short briefing to prepare you for the jump. Once ready, you’ll be securely harnessed to your instructor before boarding the aircraft. The climb to altitude takes only a few minutes, building anticipation before the doors open at up to 13,000ft.
As you leave the plane, you’ll freefall at speeds of around 120mph, covering a thousand feet every five seconds. At 5,000ft, your instructor deploys the parachute and you’ll begin a four-minute canopy ride back to the ground. During this stage, your instructor may hand over some control so you can steer before a soft landing.
This tandem skydive is ideal for first-time jumpers and thrill seekers alike. It combines the exhilaration of freefall with the chance to appreciate the views over Northamptonshire during descent.

Important Information
The maximum weight for a tandem skydive is 15 stone (95kg), and this must be proportionate to your height.
If you are fit and healthy, you can self-certify using British Skydiving medical form 115A. If you have a medical condition or if there is any uncertainty about fitness, you will need form 115B. This form must be signed and stamped by a doctor and presented on the day of your jump. The final decision on suitability is made by the Tandem Instructor.
There is no upper age limit for tandem skydiving. The minimum age is 16, and those aged 16–17 require parental or guardian consent. A parent or guardian aged 21 or over must also be present on the day to countersign the paperwork.

The Weather
In case of extreme weather the skydive can be cancelled and rescheduled for another day. Please call the location on the day to check the weather.
Session Length
The training for the tandem jump is in the form of a briefing from your instructor which takes about half an hour. The whole experience from take off to landing is about 25 minutes. You will experience 40-50 seconds in freefall and you will have approximately 5 minutes under the parachute.
Numbers
This voucher entitles one person for a Tandem Skydive. Your friends can come along but you can also book them in and share the experience with them!
Spectators
Spectators are able to come along and view the jump from the ground.
What to Wear
If it’s a cold day wrap up warm not bulky as you will be provided with a jumpsuit to wear over your clothes. On a hot day a t-shirt and trousers/shorts are ample. Trainers are recommended, do not wear any open toed shoes i.e. sandals.
