The Experience

In this session you will do two runs down the river in our 14 foot inflatable rafts, with the session lasting just over an hour in total. Before you brave the water you will meet your guide for the trip who will give the group a full safety and instruction brief. Following this you will be kitted out in wetsuits, buoyancy aids, waterproof jackets, wetsuit boots and helmets. Then it's off to the minibus which will take you up to the start point where you will commence your first descent down the rapids. Once you arrive at the end of your first run down, you will be transported once again to the top of the course where your second run awaits.

Vital Information

Minimum age is 12 years old

Maximum weight is 115kg/18st

Maximum chest size is 130cm/51in

All participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres

Please contact the centre a few days before your booked date to double check water levels

All safety equipment and tuition is included.

The Weather

Rafting operates in most conditions but may be affected by extreme weather conditions or flooding.

Session Length

Your experience will last approximately 2 hours and includes three runs of the absolute best of UK whitewater rafting. Please ensure that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time to sign in and change.

Numbers

This experience is for 1 person! The experience is recommended for party sizes of one to six. Your will share your raft with between three and five other rafters plus a qualified instructor.

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to watch you both go down the river or they can join in the fun by booking in!

What To Wear

Bring swimwear and a towel.

You WILL get wet, but there are hot shower facilities at the venue.

Buoyancy aid and helmet will be supplied.

If you wear glasses, remove them or firmly secure them.
