The Experience

Escape the hustle of daily life and reconnect with nature during this immersive two-day Bushcraft Weekend.

Set in the tranquil surroundings of Babbinswood Farm in Shropshire, this overnight course is a perfect introduction to the basics of bushcraft and survival. Over two days, you’ll learn essential wilderness skills and gain hands-on experience in thriving in the great outdoors.

During this course, you will:

Master various fire lighting techniques
Make cordage from hazel and nettles
Discover edible and medicinal plants
Prepare wild meat and cook over an open fire
Safely use and sharpen a knife
Build both natural and manmade shelters
Put your skills to the test by sleeping under the stars!

This course is limited to just eight participants (ages 18+), ensuring a personalised and engaging experience. Tools and equipment will be provided, and while we encourage you to use the shelters you construct, sleeping in your own tent is also an option.

All food and drink (except lunch on the first day) will be provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the wilderness experience.

Vital Information

To take part in the survival weekend experience a person needs to be at least 18 years old.

It does not play a role for this experience. Be ready to have an exciting experience whatever the weather.
