The Experience
A 30 Minute Helicopter Flying Lesson is an experience that combines hands-on flying with expert instruction, giving you a true taste of aviation.
Your session begins with a short pre-flight briefing from your instructor, who will introduce you to the controls and explain how the helicopter responds in the air. Once you’re ready, you’ll head to the aircraft, buckle in, and prepare for take-off.
As soon as you’re airborne, your instructor will guide you through the basics and hand over the controls so you can try flying for yourself. You may practise straight and level flight, turns, and even hovering, all while enjoying unique views from the cockpit.
The full experience lasts around 60 minutes, with 30 minutes of actual flight time. At the end of the lesson, you’ll receive a certificate signed by your instructor, and the flight time can even count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence.

The minimum age for a helicopter flying lesson is 12, with a maximum weight limit of 133kg and a maximum height of 1.98m.
The Weather
Helicopter flights, especially trial flights are reliant on good weather, should the weather conditions not be up to it, your flight will be postponed.

Spectators
Up to two observers can also join you on your flight. This is at the descrection of the pilot, so please ask when you book your date.
